Welcome to Stafford, NY

Overview

The town of Stafford is located in east-central Genesee County, between the city of Batavia and the town of LeRoy. Route 5 runs through the middle of town, and the Thruway is just a few miles north. This is one of the first towns that was settled in Genesee County, with farmers lured here because of the rich agricultural soil. Farming is still the main industry, and drives along Stafford’s country roads reveal lots of picturesque farmland.
